The Sarasota Bungalow Village is set to open in October of 2027.
Over the next year, we will be working to revive a 1956 home, as well as relocate a number of historic cottages.

VILLAGE UPDATES
October 7, 2026
We met with the Development Review Committee and received partial sign off and were approved to move forward in the rezoning process.
September 16, 2026
Scott Stevenson gifted us a cottage from his property. A separate donor made a contribution that will cover the relocation efforts for this cottage. We are set to move the structure in November.
September 2, 2026
Our Rezone application was approved and deemed “complete”. We will begin the technical review process with the DRC meeting on October 7th.
August 12, 2026
We met with the city to discuss the rezone, permitting, and presented our plan to move the cottages.
July 28, 2026
We held a community workshop as the first step towards rezoning the land from residential to commercial.
MAY 12, 2026
We purchased a property at the corner of Fruitville Road and North Briggs Avenue, just a mile east of our current location!
